In the year 2000,
Oak Grove Chapel decided to grow up with a generation of
kids that lived around the area of the church - and launched a
3 day holiday playscheme called simply 'Holiday Club'. Since that moment,
Oak Grove built up a children's ministry, that we now know as 'Kidz Klub' Initially, we took inspiration from Metro Ministries, New York, where Bill Wison began the first 'Kidz Klub' Not being able to visit the Big Apple, a video of the work going on there was viewed by a few people who really grabbed hold of the vision of growing up with a generation. Little did we know that a one-off holiday club could turn into a fortnightly kids' event!
